Gaitu.shop is an online retailer based in New Taipei, Taiwan.
Sales Terms and Conditions
All sales on Gaitu.shop are conducted electronically and processed in Taiwan.
Sales may be conducted in either USD (United States Dollar) or TWD (New Taiwan Dollar). The operating exchange rate will be set by the shop and may change without prior notice.
Formal receipts may be provided for upon request and will be denominated in New Taiwan Dollars.
Order records will be available in the internet-accessible system up to 30 days after completion of order shipment procedures or confirmed order delivery acceptance, after which records may be removed for archival purposes and protection of customer data.
In the event of an order cancellation request and already completed shipment procedures, orders must be returned to the shipper by the shipment service and evaluated before final consideration is made. If products are not returned (as they have been accepted by the recipient), the order cancellation request will be null and void.
Order cancellations may be accepted up to the point that the order has begun preparation for shipment. After this point, order cancellation applications will not be accepted, and customers may apply for a return after accepting shipment.
If an order is not accepted by the customer and is returned to the shipper by the shipment service, the order will be judged cancelled, and compensation will be subject to return shipping and restocking fees, credited via the original payment method or store credit in the event of no agreement to the satisfaction of both parties.
Products made available for customers have been checked for quality control. In the event that received goods are damaged, customers may initiate return procedures to replace faulty products. This shop is not responsible for improper storage of products by customers and resulting decay.
Return Terms and Conditions
Per Taiwan's law, product returns may be accepted.
Return applications will be accepted up to 7 days from the date of confirmed acceptance of products.
Products must be returned in an unopened, unadulterated state, including all original elements. Missing elements may result in a declination of the return application.
Agricultural and horticultural products cannot be returned due to possible contamination and inability to resell, pursuant to interpretation of R.O.C. law concerning perishable products (消費者保護法第19條).
Although the option of product return may be available for an order, the application may be declined due to an unfulfillment of requirements, or the seller may elect to replace the product with an equivalent.
In the event of a ruling to replace products, best efforts will be taken to ensure delivery to the customer. Return postal fees back to our shop are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise stated.
In the event of a ruling to refund the customer, compensation for returns will equal the product value according to the transaction and may be subject to fees including handling and restocking. The final value of the return will be paid to the customer by the original method of payment (including credit card transaction cancellation/reversal/alteration), unless other arrangements are made to the satisfaction of both parties. If no arrangement can be made, the seller will issue store credit.
All orders must clear payment before shipment.
Delivery may be delayed if suspected transaction is fraudulent.
Delivery times are not guaranteed, and we can only provide a best-effort calculation.
Orders shipped via third party logistics services may be subject to security inspection and/or customs regulations.
The seller is not responsible for international import taxation or other related fees.
Once an order has been processed for shipment, its eligibility for order editing, including cancellation, will be impacted.
We respect our users' privacy and do not wish to share private information with third parties for the purposes of data mining or advertising. Some third party services, including payment gateways or logistics providers, may require information for their services to operate. We try our best to limit the information shared with these services.
Information that may be stored with your records include order contents, recipient records, payment records, access logs, and other routing information.
